Jen Petersen

Licensed Acupuncturist

Jen earned her Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2009 from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon — one of the most progressive acupuncture schools in the country. She specializes in sports medicine acupuncture, women’s health, digestive issues, pain management, and cancer support.

Being an athlete herself, Jen enjoys the challenge of helping athletes get back on track and improve their sports performance by addressing nagging or recurring injuries and imbalances that impact training results and recovery times.

In her practice, Jen focuses on treating the whole person with a desire to identify the underlying cause of disease and not solely focus on symptom relief. Her treatments incorporate several modalities including acupuncture, moxibustion, bodywork, cupping, and gua sha. Jen focuses on providing extensive one-on-one time between the patient and practitioner.
